Route overview, distances from the starting point

Manasija was founded in the early 15th century by Despot Stefan Lazarević, a knight and poet, and enclosed by mighty walls and towers. Its frescoes are among the finest of the Morava school and the monastery was a famous centre of learning.

A short drive away, Resava Cave opens a different world: halls of stalactites and stalagmites millions of years old. We finish the day in the cool forest at Lisine, where the Veliki Buk waterfall drops into a green pool.
